O’Connell Landscape Maintenance
- 11-17-11 Application on greens for pink snow mold & dollar spot. Daconil Ultrex & Chipco 26GT. Both have caution labels, re entry when dry.
- 11-26-11 Application on greens due to rainfall for pink snow mold. Insignia fungicide. Caution label, re entry when dry.
- 12-1-11 Application on greens. Preventative with 3336WP. Caution label, re entry when dry.
- 12-8-11 Application on greens for crabgrass prevention with Bensumec 4LF and Tempo for cutworms. Warning labels, re entry when dry after watered in.
- Front Nine closed 12-12-11 thru 12-18-11 & Back Nine closed 12-19-11 thru 12-25-11 for Drill & Fill on fairways. Schedule may change due to weather.
- We are ordering new cups, flags, flagsticks per seasonal requirement and the New year.

Golf Committee Report:
- 10-10 & 10-11-11 Prepared course for special tournament.
- We have more Merit .5 G in stock to treat the occasional varmint damage on fairways.
- 10-21-11 Application on greens for dollar spot & cutworms. Daconil Ultrex, Chipco 26 GT & Allecutus. All have caution labels, re entry when dry. Also Stellar fertilizers, Respond 3 & PHacid.
- We will install 2 15-gal liquidambar rotundilobas behind 1 green and 8 fairway to replace 1 snapped by wind & the other drowned.
- Installed 15 15-gal texanum ligustrum for hedge bottom of 5 men’s tee.
- Turf Time can begin work on fairway drill & fill @ OHCC in December 2011 hopefully before heavy rainfall occurs to get the most out of the process.

Golf Committee Report:
- 9-3-11 Prepared course for Concert On The Green.
- 9-10-11 Applied Merit .5G to all fairways & tees to prevent varmint damage. Varmint damaged has stopped following application.
- Sand & seed has been added to varmint damage & compaction areas.
- Trees from 7 tee have been transplanted to 7 green area.
- Irrigation has been reduced per season.
- 9-23-11 Application on greens with Daconil Ultrex & Tempo 20 WSP for cutworms. Both have caution labels, re entry when dry. Also Stellar fertilizers, PHacid & Respond 3.
- Dead pepper tree has been removed from 14 green. 3 liquidambars will be added to these areas as other trees are failing.
- The large broken limb from pepper tree on 16 tee has been removed.
- Tees will be closed from 9-30-11 until 10-24-11 for over seeding & top dressing. Temporary tees will be utilized during grow in.

Golf Committee Report:
- 8-4-11 Began rebuilding work on tees 1& 5. Completed work on 8-13-11. Tees should be open 9-5-11 & will definitely be on for Pipes Plumbing tournament on 9-12-11. The committee needs to decide how many feet of hedge will be removed from #5 men’s tee.
- 8-13-11 Fertilized all fairways with Largo Verde 24-4-8+3.5FE @ 5-lbs. per 1000 sq, ft. for a total of 8000-lbs.
- 8-18-11 Applied greens grade gypsum to all fairways & tees @ 10-lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. to assist in building soil & leeching salts. Total used 16000-lbs.
- 8-19-11 Applied Reservoir DG & HydraHume DG on all fairways. Total 2000 lbs.
- All golf course trees have been installed and staked, except 7 tee where my men were chased away.
- Ordered Merit .5 G for golf course fairways and tees to prevent crow & varmint damage. Application early September.
- Aeration scheduled for 8-25 & 8-26 has been cancelled as it is not needed. Salt levels are low and green health is high.

Aerated greens 6-23 & 6-24-11. Using 3/8” hollow tines with holes left open to increase air/gas exchange.
6-23-11 Application F-9 fairways of Daconil Ultrex & Zenith insecticide. Warning label re entry when dry. Also applied Largo, Per4Max, Kickstand, PHacid & Respond 3.
6-24-11 Application for broadleaf weeds on Back -9 fairways. Speed Zone & Pro spreader, caution label, re entry when dry.
6-30-11 Application on greens, Daconil Ultrex & Tempo WSP. Caution label re entry when dry.
7-1-11 Back nine closed until 3:00 pm for application of Daconil, Zenith, Largo, Per4Max, Kickstand, Phacid, & Respond 3. Warning labels, re entry when dry.
Replaced ball washer on ladies 6 tee.
Installed new sand box on ladies 18 tee.
Proposal for tee rebuilding approved. Work is scheduled for August 2011.
Carts signs installed 3 remaining 50 yard markers installed today.

O'Connell Landscape Maintenance Golf Committee Report:
1. The scheduled aeration in May will be cancelled as the holes from April drill & fill are still recovering.
2. 5-5-11 Preventative application for summer patch with Heritage 75WDG. Caution label, re entry when dry. Also application of Merit 75WSP for prevention of grubs and atenius beetles. Warning label, re entry when dry. Stellar fertilizer program, PHacid & Respond 3.
3. All six white fifty yard markers have been temporarily installed. When placement is approved by committee we will set in concrete for permanent installation.
4. The first round of golf course trees has been installed and staked per installation specifications.
5. The second set of trees will be installed upon approval of proposal.
6. 24 new plastic sand scoops have been installed in sand boxes, old ones kept for spares.
7. 5-12-11 Application on greens for anthracnose prevention and cutworms. 3336WP and Tempo, both have caution labels, re entry when dry. Stellar fertilizers, PHacid & Respond 3.

O'Connell Landscape Maintenance Golf Committee Report:
1. All fairways and tees aerated with ½" solid tines.
2. Fairways were treated with Daconil Ultrex fungicide and PHacid, Largo & Per4Max biostimulants.
3. 4-30-11 Fairways & tees fertilized with Nature Safe 27-2-2 an organic product that helps build soils.
4. The last 4 50-yard markers arrived yesterday and will be installed in May.
5. The first order of golf course trees have arrived and will also be installed in May.
6. New scoops have been ordered for sand boxes and will be installed upon arrival.
7. I have provided a proposal for drill & fill on all fairways. The benefits of drill & fill are a proven factor based on condition of greens and existing science to combat compaction. Water use will also be reduced after this procedure.
8. Also provided proposal to rebuild 5 mens and 1 tee.
